Did anyone else ever notice that on "The Andy Griffin Show" not one of the characters were ever married?  Oh I know Andy was a wodower but never married on the show.

Do you think this was someone in Hollywood's way of introducing homosexuality into mainstream media?

Don't you think that rather strange for a show that was recorded in 1960 and in Black & White?

Did you also notice that "Andy" was rather detective like in "getting to the bottom of things" much like the actor was a detective later on in the Matlock series.
