I'm not saying their backwoods, but hubby's relatives came to town this weekend for funeral proceedings and cousin from Oklahoma spent the night with us. We were going to stop somewhere and eat on the way home and asked her where she wanted to go. She said "Taco Bueno, that's where we always go out to eat". Hubby started laughing and said "We were thinking about something a little more substantial, like Chili's". Anyway, when we pulled into the Chili's parking lot, cousin had a fit because we have a Super Target and asked if we could go there after we ate. She was so excited, like a little child and she is 23 and in college (in Oklahoma).
While in Chili's we had to suggest to her what to order - which I found very amusing. Then we get to Target, walking up she's like "Ohhhhh and wow this is three times bigger than the Target we have". So we go inside and she is looking around like a little kid and running from aisle to aisle saying, "look at this, look at that, ohhhh, ahhhhhh, weeeeee". Then we get to an aisle that has nothing but jellybean bins down one side of it and she goes crazy. It was quite fun watching her dump different jellybeans in the bag. Her enthusiasm was catching and before I knew it, hubby and I both had bags and were grabbing an assortment of jelly beans, sour balls and other candies (like we didn't just get our fill of candy at Halloween - lol). We spent 45 minutes on that candy aisle and then walked around the rest of the store while she ate candy from her bag and was amazed at how much stuff our store had.
It was a very enjoyable evening. What a delightful child, I'm going to send her a bag of jellybeans for Christmas.
