O.k. - so I'm sitting in the recliner earlier this evening feeding little Princess and she farts then starts laughing which makes me laugh. I'm thinking this must be a coincidence as she is only 8 month old and surly doesn't know just how funny farts are yet. Hubby gets home later, is feeding her dinner (squash), so I can finish cooking our dinner, and she farts again and laughs about it. He is horrified and tells her "That is not very lady-like, girls don't fart". Where in the hell did that man get that, especially after living with me for over 11 yrs. My sons and I are consistantly having gas wars by eating the most disgusting thing we can think of for lunch to see what noxious gas they will produce later that evening and who can gross who out first (I usually win). About 30 minutes later we are all sitting around the dinner table eating and little Princess is in her walker, going in circles, and she again farts and then looks at me and starts giggling so middle son looks at me and says "Gross mom, why did you teach her that?". Hey, I didn't teach her anything, I was at work all day - damn those teachers at her daycare cause I'm pretty sure she didn't learn this from me. What? blinks eyes rapidly, innocent look on face I swear it wasn't me.
