Little Magpie usually is a good baby and pretty easy to get to sleep when it is bedtime.  We have learned one thing, recently, that it is not a good thing to put her to bed and let her cry her self to sleep.  Having tried it 3 times so far and all 3 times resulted in throwing up.  Last night I fed her a bottle, with cereal in it (and yes, she still gets a bottle with cereal in it) and when she didn’t go to sleep I put her in her crib.  Closed the door and stood outside it chewing my fingernails while listening to her cry.  I think I ate 3 acrylic nails – yech.  After about 7 minutes and not being able to stand it anymore I went in and picked her up.  I took her back into the living room to rock her.  Snuggled her into the crook of my arm and tried to calm her down only to have her THROW UP ALL DOWN MY BRA.  Yes, that’s right; she sat up and proceeded to empty 8 ounces of formula and cereal right down into my cleavage.  NICE!  I pressed her to my chest, said “Oh, SHIT!” and ran into the bathroom to deposit her on the rug.  I ran a bath and Mr. H. came into the bathroom and bathed her so that I could strip.  Let me tell you just how slimy recycled formula with cereal is when it is running out the bottom of your bra and soaks the front of your shirt and shorts.  It was even running down the front of my legs and pooling on the floor.  Man, I thought I was going to throw up myself while trying to unbutton the shirt.  I was making gagging noises which made Mr. H. start to gag while Magpie was hysterically crying in the tub.  Finally I was able to extract myself from the slimy clothes so I hopped in the tub right behind her and rinsed off.  After I got dressed and she was bathed and in clean pj’s she went right to sleep – the little bugger.

It was my favorite bra – I don’t think I will every look at it the same way again!

On another note - my cousin's wife is stable and it looks like they are going to release her today with complete bed rest but she is off the meds and will have to wear a fetal monitor.  Thanks for all your prayers and finger crossing!
