Midwest Airlines is starting to give Frequent Flyer Miles to pets. Yes, it seems Rover or Sassy will get a free round trip for every three domestic round trips he/she flies with their owner. A whopping $150 value.

Virgin Atlantic is unveiling plans for a giant Airbus A380 in France today, which is a double-decker jet. It will feature a gym, beauty parlor, 35 – private double beds and an in-flight Casino offering blackjack and roulette and seat around 800. They have already ordered six and should start flying them in May of 2008. My guess is that the "Mile High Club" will have a whole lot of new members join - Annie, here's your chance.

My opinion here doesn’t have anything to do with which candidate I support or voted for. Let’s just say, for the sake of argument that I didn’t vote for ANYONE! First off, I don’t think it matters what Bush does, someone will criticize it. If he scaled down the celebrations then someone would criticize him and say that we were sending the wrong message to both our Troops and the Terrorist. That we should continue as normal so that the Terrorist wouldn’t have the victory in changing the way we celebrate our Presidential Inauguration. This has been celebrated since the swearing in of James Madison in 1809 and if Bush didn’t celebrate then one of his critics would find something wrong with that. It doesn’t really matter what he does, someone, somewhere will find cause to complain.

Besides that, his celebrations are being paid for by donations from Companies and individual donors not taxpayers. I don’t know about you, but that is one of the things I appreciate about living in the United States, the freedom to donate to whatever cause I want to. And, yes, that means the freedom to donate to the President’s Inaugural if I want to. If I want to help the President celebrate his second term, then I have the freedom to do that and if I don’t believe in it, then I also have the freedom to donate my hard earned money to something else. I also have the choice of whether or not to watch the celebrations – that is one of the great things about living here. I love this country!

Personal

This is to the little girls that go to High School with my middle son.  Please stop drawing on him!  Just because he lets you doesn't mean that he likes it.  He thinks that if you really liked him then you would have listened the first few times he asked you to stop.  You are not getting his attention by doing this, you are turning him off and he can't wait to get home and wash your phone number off. 

Also, please quit calling the him, don't you wonder why he isn't "available" every single time you call?  Not speaking for all young men, but my son doesn't like being persued, he liked to be the persuer (sp?).  I think it is some Neanderthal gene that his dad must have passed on to him.

Lastly - there will be an update on almost 20 yr old demon fighting devil.  Things have gone from bad to worse, then even worse, then kinda better and as soon as I can get my head around everything that has happened, I will blog about it.  He hasn't been cutting, which is the only thing good that has happened, but sometimes you just need to celebrate the small things.  So for today, I choose to celebrate the fact that there aren't any new scars on his beautiful body.
